What is Diversion?
Diversion occurs when CBY Beauty Inc. branded products are sold in unauthorized locations or by unauthorized retailers. These products may appear online or in retail outlets not authorized by CBY Beauty Inc. Our products are only available through official CBY Beauty Inc. websites and authorized sellers. Why is Diversion Harmful?
Diverted products can be counterfeit, improperly formulated, or expired, posing potential safety risks. Products sold through unauthorized channels do not meet CBY Beauty Inc.'s quality standards, and as such, we cannot guarantee their authenticity or safety. Moreover, diverted products are often marked up 15% or more above the price set by authorized sellers.
Are You at Risk?
Yes, purchasing diverted products puts you at risk of receiving contaminated or counterfeit items, which can cause irritation, infection, or other health issues. We take great pride in the quality of our products, and we can only ensure the authenticity and safety of products bought from authorized sellers.

Unauthorized online and third-party retail sellers who sell products without our approval.
How Can You Help Prevent Diversion?
If you encounter CBY Beauty Inc. products being sold outside of authorized channels, please report it! Email us at team@nu-standard.com or complete our Customer Support Request Form [note- select "other" for request type] to notify us of the unauthorized sale. You will receive our Anti-Diversion form to complete, and we will conduct a thorough investigation into the matter.
What is CBY Beauty Inc. Doing to Prevent Diversion?
We are committed to protecting our licensed professionals, salon partners, and clients by taking proactive steps to combat diversion:
- In Development: We use exclusive product coding to trace CBY Beauty Inc. products and track their movement. This allows us to identify and address any diversion issues.

Legal Action: Once diverted products are identified, we take legal action against the sellers and suppliers responsible.
- Termination of Authorized Sellers: Any authorized seller found reselling to unauthorized parties will have their authorization revoked immediately.
- Ongoing Monitoring: Our representatives regularly check online platforms for unauthorized sales and conduct mystery shopping to identify and uncover diverted products.
- Product Tracking: CBY Beauty Inc. representatives are instructed to purchase any diverted product they encounter. These products are then decoded to help identify the source of the diversion.
